Belvedere Middle School

Redesign of an East Los Angeles public middle school developed through a design-build competition for LAUSD.
The project transforms the campus into a connected network of outdoor learning and gathering spaces. Programmed areas—performance zones, lunch terraces, and gardens—support daily activity, with twice the shade originally required to enhance comfort and usability.
